Lex van Delden
Lex van Delden (Amsterdam, 1919 – 1988) was a composer and music critic. Self-taught, he wrote over a hundred works — among them eight symphonies, concertos, chamber music and choral works — performed by the Concertgebouw Orchestra among others. From 1946 to 1982 he was music editor of the Amsterdam daily Het Parool.
